El título de Doble Grado en Veterinaria y en Ciencia y Producción Animal se obtiene después de haber superado 360 créditos ECTS. Tiene una duración de 6 años. Un crédito equivale a 25 horas de trabajo del estudiante, 10 de las cuales son presenciales (es decir, son actividades de los estudiantes con el profesorado). Los créditos se obtienen cursando asignaturas que son, generalmente, semestrales. La carga mediana de créditos por año es de 60.

Nota: Los reconocimientos de las asignaturas comunes entre el Grado en Veterinaria y el grado en Ciencia y Producción Animal, todas ellas incluidas en estos 360 créditos, son automáticos. Dichas asignaturas, aunque pertenecen a los dos grados, sólo se han de matricular y superar de forma única. El reconocimiento de estos créditos en el otro título es gratuito para los estudiantes del doble grado. Por tanto, para la obtención del doble título (Grado en Veterinaria y Grado en Ciencia y Producción Animal) se requiere matricular y superar únicamente 360 créditos.
